Results from traumatic Brain Injuries:
Brain injuries can result in physical disabilities, mental and emotional disabilities or all of the above.  Because the brain controls our body functions and emotional functions, the complications that occur are a vast number of possibilities.  The type of complications that a victim of traumatic brain injury endures depend largely on the severity and location of the head injury.
Physical Disabilities can manifest themselves in the form of loss of motor control, epilepsy, and paralysis.
Some mental complications that can arise from a brain injury are memory loss, difficulty communicating or concentrating, and dementia.
Emotional complications that can arise are depression, paranoia, aggression, and even violent thoughts after a traumatic brain injury.
