Traumatic Brain Injury is when damage to the brain is a result of a physical trauma. These injuries occur in the United States at a rate of almost two million people a year. There are several different levels of brain injury ranging across the spectrum from severe to mild injury. Regardless of where the level of severity falls on the spectrum, any brain injury is a very serious matter. The ranges of outcomes of a brain injury can be non-permanent to permanent disabilities to fatalities.
